Hearts: junk food, a good book on a rainy day, comic books, farmer's markets, fashion blogs, and trivia

Hayley is a nonfiction fiend! When she was a kid, she only read fiction (which she still loves as well), but then she went to work in the library of the California Academy of Sciences. She found so many cool science books there that she realized she'd been missing out on lots of fun stuff, so now she tries to read as much nonfiction as fiction. Hayley loves helping kids learn how to find stuff out and she really enjoys talking about books as well. Come and find her on the desk and have a chat!

When Caroline was a kid, she used to read anything that had pages, and checked out piles of books from the library that were almost too big to carry.  She has always loved libraries, so it makes sense that she decided to become a librarian!  Some of her favorite authors write for kids, including Roald Dahl, Jeanne Birdsall and Suzanne Collins.  She loves talking about books and finding helping others find new things to read, so come find her if you have any questions or need help picking out a book!

Sarah is a huge fan of chocolate (in any form), hiking, puppies, and reading.  Her favorite books are The Blue Sword by Robin McKinley andThe Protector of the Small Quartet by Tamora Pierce.  Sarah recently played the X-Box Kinect for the first time and died laughing of the goofy pictures the console took during the game.  RIP.
